I’m interested in playing Grand Theft Auto: San Andreas for the XBOX 360. I know it wasn’t released for the XBOX 360 so my question is, is there a way I can play a XBOX game on the 360? One of my friends left me borrow the game but it didn’t work.

Yes. Some original Xbox games are backwards compatible and can be played on the 360. Fortunately, San Andreas is one of them. What you need to do is connect to Xbox Live and put the game in. You will be prompted for an update. Select that to download and you can play the game on your 360. Keep in mind that if it wasn’t an Xbox Live capable game (and it’s not. I have it.) you can only play offline and can’t access stuff like your guide button or friends list. If you don’t have Live, you can go here http://www.xbox.com/en-US/games/backwardscompatibility.htm and follow the instructions to download, burn, and install the update to your 360. Also, you must have a hard drive to play backwards compatible games.
