Microsoft has set a timeline for the next Xbox to be released around 2011 to 2012 possibly even as late as 2013. You cannot go wrong with buying a new Xbox 360 this year. The upgraded the motherboard to a newer chip called the “Jasper Chip” which has a reduced probability of having the the “Red Ring of Death” and other errors due to overheating. Buy an Xbox 360.
