I have TWCable and am having problems with “tiling”. Does anyone have ATTUniv., do you have the same problem?

They have switched the settings and I continue to have this problem – I’m looking to switch services, but am wondering if this is a problem with all cable providers right now, since the switch to Digital TV.

Answer:
The “switch to digital TV” was only about over-the-air stations, those received with an antenna. However, the cable industry is going through its own (different) conversion to digitally delivered content. If you are experiencing dropouts or blocky pictures, then you definitely need to contact your cable company, as something is quite wrong. While you may see an occasional burst of blocky pixels, it should be rare. AT&T’s U-Verse system delivers video over fiber-optic lines using Internet Protocol, similar to DSL, with the final connection into your house being over copper lines. As I understand it this system has even less bandwidth than cable, so it could be subject to the same problems as TWC. But I have no direct experience with it.
